Oliver Products
Company now features a bagel and bun slicer. Available in three different
models (702-N-Standard, 702-NSE-Short Chute End Feed and 702-NSS-Short Chute
Side Feed), the dual machine can slice various bread items cleanly with its
changeable cutting blade, offering different slicing heights and depths.
Other features of
the bagel and bun slicer include a strong and compressed design, offering
effortless operating, a “gentle-touch” door that eases the bread items’ exit,
causing less damage (with models 702-N only) and a bread item return chute that
takes up less counter space.
The machine has a
coated finish of “durable bakery white powder,” with stainless steel parts—the
chute and blade.
The Oliver Products Company manufacturers a wide variety of
equipment for bakery equipment and food packaging. Oliver was established as a
“wood working equipment company,” but by 1932, they obtained their first bread
slicer. Packaging equipment—“wrapping and labeling”—attributed the bread
slicers by 1944, introducing the Oliver Products Company into “packaging system
solutions.”
