Pre-cut dough pieces and let the Pizzaxpress Dough Rounder by Univex smoothly shape and firm them automatically. Producing 2-42 ounce rounds, the DR42 dough rounder model is made out of stainless steel and an “anodized aluminum construction.”
Ridding manual shaping of dough, the DR42 saves operating time. The machine is also able to shape different portions of dough, from 1 ¾ - 16 ounce pieces, without having to adjust any of its parts.
Meeting NSF requirements, the Pizzaxpress Dough Rounder can hourly operate up to 1,200 portions of dough, releasing single portions every three seconds. The machine also includes a feed that’s continual for quicker production of dough shaping and is easy to clean, as the unit can be taken apart without the use of tools.
Founded by Charlie Papadinis in 1948 with his invention and first manufacture of an automatic potato peeler, Univex now manufactures “its own lines of mixers, slicers, peelers, and food processing equipment.”
