Withstanding room temperature for up to two hours with its lid off, the Elite 500 “Ice Rink” Ice Cream Freezer from Piper Products contains a frost-free section, where products are held at zero degrees Fahrenheit. Available in two sizes, a 6.5 or 12.25 cubic feet freezer, the Elite 500 includes a refrigeration system that eliminates water hazards with its inside frost wall and heater strip, a timed gas temperature that’s auto-hot, a “terminated defrost system” and a thermostat to monitor temperature within the freezer.

Your pick of either a stainless steel or a powder-coated finish, the Elite 500 freezer comes with features such as a solid tray slide, leveled dispensers, an interlock that enables the unit to lock with other Piper Elite units, a 16-guage top, an inner liner with a drain, 14-guage legs, 20-guage end and front panels that attach to the legs, a detachable louver panel, a stainless steel liner, insulation for the 2-inch cabinet, a no condensation heater, automatic defrost, a dial thermometer, stainless steel removable lids and 5-inch casters that swivel with two brakes.
