Follett’s Freezer Factor

Follett Corporation introduces two new, 23.75-inch undercounter freezers. Model FZR5, made for counters at 36 inches high, and the FZR4-ADA, made for counters at 34 inches high, have digital temperature displays and are constructed with a stainless steel interior and exterior. Both freezers also contain “heavy-duty, 1/3 HP compressors, thermostatic expansion valves (TXV), forced-air cooling and digital, microprocessor controllers provide stable temperatures, quick pull-down and rapid recovery.”

New Kitchen Products From De’Longhi

New additions to the Esclusivo line from De’Longhi include the D24527DZ Dual Zone Deep Fryer, the CTH2003 Toaster and the CTH4003 Toaster—all products designed to improve the kitchen experience.

The D24527DZ Dual Zone Deep Fryer offers crispy, fried food. Ample space allows food to fry evenly and completely for delicious results; its capacity makes the Dual Zone perfect for groups of all sizes. The Dual Zone system makes draining and recycling cooking oil safe and easy. The operator can open the door on the front of the unit and drain the oil through the tube into a storage container.

The CTH2003 and CTH4003 Toasters are each all-metal machines that feature separate bagel functions which toast food products evenly. The extra wide, extra long slots work in concert with self-adjusting grips to center the toasted item for precise, double-sided toasting. For toasting frozen waffles and English muffins, the defrost function thaws the food before toasting.

Deluxe Slow Cooker And Skillet By All-Clad

All-Clad Metalcrafters now offers the Deluxe Electric Skillet and Slow Cooker. The skillet contains a six quart capacity, was designed for high cooking performance and use, constructed with an aluminum-cored center that prevents “hot spots” and a temperature range of 180 degrees to 480 degrees. The device allows operators to sear or fry, but can also keep food warm within a buffet line, with temperatures marked clearly on a control panel. Additional features of the skillet include stainless steel handles and a power cord that’s removable for ease of washing; the machine is also dishwasher safe.

The Electric Slow Cooker features an almost seven quart capacity, with a stainless steel constructed exterior and handles. The slow cooker is also equipped with a glass lid, a three-setting timer that’s programmable and stainless steel rivets that keep handles in place.

Cuisine Is An Art

The Cuisinart 7 Quart Stand Mixer adds versatility to the foodservice industry with an array of attachments, allowing the operator to create anything from frozen drinks to pasta. Attachments include a 40-ounce blender, 16-ounce juicer, three cup food processor, meat grinder and pasta maker.

The blender attachment contains 12 speeds and is leak-resistant with a two-ounce pour lid that’s removable. The citrus juicer makes freshly squeezed juice in little time and includes a mid-speed power outlet. Popular drinks such as margaritas, coolers or party favorites can be made with this attachment. A New Storm—Tornado’s Automatic Floor Scrubbers

Including walk-behinds and ride-ons, Tornado’s automatic floor scrubbers are available in a standard rotary disk format as well as cylindrical brush, a newer technology that uses counter-rotating brushes instead of pads.

The machines have cleaning paths that range from 18- to 33-inches with 11 to 30 gallon tanks. Designed and engineered for every user, the machines are made of rotomold polyethylene and were put through a battery of field tests before introduction-assuring their durability, performance, ergonomics and ease of use. 

“We also put a great deal of emphasis on environmental issues,” said Jolynn Kennedy, Marketing Manager for Tornado. “For example, with the cylindrical models, which use brushes instead of pads, the brushes last up to 100 times longer, helping to protect natural resources and reduce environmental waste.”

The scrubbers also have four to six times the floor contact pressure of conventional rotary floor machines. Another feature is the machines' square base design, which allows for edge cleaning.

Save Space And Time With Dutchess’ Slicer
