"The launch of our new Tim Hortons Keurig compatible single serve coffee cups, is yet another way we are able to bring our premium blend coffee to our guests and reinforce our coffee leadership in Canada."
According to Nielsen*, the Canadian single serve market represents approximately 33 per cent of total roast and ground retail sales dollars and continues to experience strong double digit growth.
"We recognize our guests can't always get to one of our restaurants, but still want a cup of Tim Hortons freshly brewed coffee. With nearly 80 per cent of coffee drinkers consuming coffee at home in the past day**, we are pleased to offer a new way to brew Canada's favourite coffee at home," says McKay.
