With an audience of bikers looking on, three finalists in Weber's Big Burger Battle faced off against each other for the grand championship title at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.
After 30 minutes of heated competition, New Yorker Dafna Mizrahi was crowned the winner and rode off with a new Weber Summit S-670 gas grill valued at $2,799, Weber grilling accessories, a copy of Weber's Big Book of Burgers, a $500 Harley-Davidson™ gift card and a coveted red Weber Kettle trophy.
Winner Dafna Mizrahi is a 2013 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park, NY), and is currently the director of operations for a growing burger-centric restaurant chain in Manhattan. Dafna's winning burger, the 870 Broadway Burger featured a fusion of Latin, American, and Asian cuisines.
