RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. announced the "soft opening" of a new military-themed Bombshells Restaurant & Bar in northwest Houston.
"This is our fifth Bombshells in Texas and the third in Houston," said Eric Langan, President and CEO of RCI, which was founded and continues to be based in the city. "We have broken ground on a sixth location, picked out a property for our seventh, and plan to develop three more in 2018-2019."
For the new sports bar/restaurant, an RCI subsidiary constructed a 7,900 square-foot building and a 3,500 square-foot patio. Able to seat up to 400, this Bombshells was also designed as a prototype as part of the chain's national franchise marketing effort. Individual Bombshells typically employ more than 100 people.
With its military theme, Bombshells Girls in uniform, and a fun, energetic environment, which includes more than 100 HDTVs for sports, DJs, full bars with premium brands and craft brews, an extensive menu and scratch kitchen, Bombshells units attract a diverse demographic of men and women, from millennials to seniors, and from singles and couples to families with children.
"As a result, Bombshells has become known for its 'social dining' experience," said David Simmons, Director of Restaurant Operations. "Unlike other chains, we encourage guests to stay, enjoy and hang out. There's always something going on."
